I haven't used it just yet so I cannot comment on durability, but I received it well packaged, no scratches, and all of the welds look solid.It might be worth noting that the finish is a glossy black, but the product pictures makes it look like a matte finish. It included a set of red reflective tape to put on the 2 corners for visibility at night. There's almost no assembly required, just fitting the carrier onto your car to determine how close you want it to be to your bumper then bolting it onto the adapter. It's great because due to the s-type design, it raises the carrier a bit for more ground clearance and less road gunk on your stuff. When there's no weight on the carrier, it will bounce...
