This product is a perfect example of buying on-line and being stuck in a rock and a hard place. In the assembly of this pile of junk not one hole lined up I had to put the screws in loose and tighten add some screws and loosen and tighten again to form the metal so it all fit together. The mechanism that allows it to pivot is a deal breaker for all the smaller SUV's (I have a toyota highlander) the pivot point has so much slack it lets the rack sag about 3 inches and every bump in the road is a scrape.. So I had to flip the mechanism upside down so i have 4 more inches of clearance but now i cant store it in the up position. I bought this light as a feather rack for my car I paid 69.99 for it and paid 30 in shipping and would have to pay at least that much to return it so why bother. I will just deal with it. I saw some at cabeles for 149.99 that are way better and built in the USA, bummed i didn't know about those then. Dont make my mistake!!!
